Caring for your reusable feminine napkins

Caring for your napkins is quite simple.  Fill a bucket (plastic, stainless, whatever you prefer) with water and soak napkins when you are done with them.  When you are ready to wash, pour the contents of the bucket, water and all, into your washing machine.  Run your machine on a short cycle with your regular detergent, fill your washing machine with other clothes and wash again.  Cleaning is as simple as that!  I line dry my napkins.  You may use your dryer, although that will decrease the lifespan of your napkins.  Please don't use fabric softener either in your wash or in the dryer.  Fabric softeners reduce the absorbent qualities of your napkins.
